Cryosauna
Cryotherapy
Hours: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Price: €65 per session (3 minutes)
Treatment:
The cryosauna utilizes the vaporization of liquid nitrogen, which becomes gaseous in the cryochamber, bringing the body to temperatures between -110°C and -160°C within 30-45 seconds. The treatment lasts approximately 2-3 minutes. This process induces vasoconstriction in the extremities, increasing blood flow to the heart where it is enriched with oxygen and nutrients. At the end of the session, the restoration of body temperature causes vasodilation. This promotes, over the next 3-6 hours, the flow of "enriched" blood from the heart to the extremities, capable of: supplying tissues with oxygen and energy substrates;
rapidly removing toxic metabolites like lactic acid.
Cold treatments are recognized as the best tools for physical regeneration, whether you are a professional athlete, an amateur enthusiast, or simply interested in improving your physical well-being.
Cryotherapy is a treatment that offers multiple benefits for the human body, using cold to enhance physiological regeneration, making it particularly suitable for all types of physical activities. This type of treatment beneficially affects recovery from injuries or trauma and helps restore optimal physiological functions by reducing inflammatory states.
Recent studies have confirmed the anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidant effects of this therapy, highlighting the resulting physiological responses. In addition to its evident benefits, the cryosauna has shown excellent results in preventing the deleterious effects of latent inflammation and the aftermath of sports activities.
Benefits of the Cryosauna for certain dysfunctions:
When to avoid the Cryosauna:
The cryosauna is contraindicated in conditions of cold intolerance, skin lesions, hypothyroidism, cardiovascular diseases, claustrophobia, pregnancy and breastfeeding, alcoholism, and nutritional deficiencies.
The cryosauna is not suitable for individuals under 16 or over 65 years of age.
